Field trip is a
method of learning in which a group of interested students accompanied and
guided by the staff advisors to gain first hand knowledge of improved practices
in their natural settings. It is a series of demonstrations arranged in a
sequence. Participants gain firsthand knowledge and are stimulated to action.
It widens the vision. Further it caters to group psychology and leadership. It
has incidental values of entertainment and site seeing. By realizing these
advantages, students of women’s studies centre were taken to one day field trip during every academic year
